Shadowlight
Skill Name
Shadowlight
Skill Description
Shadowlight is a mysterious power, to which one uses Darkness, Coinciding with Light. While both elements are used, neither can be used alone from the other. This power nullifies both its elements of Darkness and Light, making it a Non-Elemental magic. Its power lies in use of both the elements, and is highly powerful from their combined reactions.
Capabilities
Limitations
Learning Curve
Steep
It's almost impossible to get this skill right off the bat. It requires some of the most studious of people to completely understand. The user can usually submit about 16 posts of them actively learning it.

Capabilities
- User is able to create reactions with the elements raw power, resulting in near-nuclear reactions, causing blinding explosions.
- User can combine both elements into pure energy, and summon forth beams to strike the foe from a distance.
- Can summon a Shield forth that Halves Damage from both Photokinesis and Darkness Manipulation Skill attacks. However, shield will break instantly if hit by any other Skills
Limitations
- Upon learning the skill, the character in question will be unable to break the unique balance they learned, being unable to learn to use Photokinesis or Darkness Manipulation separate of each other, nor can this skill be learned by those whom have already taken upon themselves the Skill of Darkness Manipulation or Photokinesis.

Re: Shadowlight
It's creative. But the entirety of the ability seems that it sort of depends upon fusing elements, which is by nature, disallowed. Then again, you've clearly stated that one is not capable of using them separately, so it's okay.
However, there are some parts I really do not understand. Now, that would be the whole "not affected by Complexity Levels", but uses Complexity Levels to determine energy usage. And, Complexity Levels only go up to 10. Nothing higher. It would be good to change that up to having to use Complexity Levels.
Next, the capabilities are overpowered. Nothing is able to have an absolute defense against against anything, or embody a certain denomination. They are very useful, but not allowed. Light and Darkness (Photokinesis and Darkness Manipulation, btw) are not to be absolutely defended against.

Re: Shadowlight
When I stated that it is not affected by complexity levels, I was under the impression that, the higher complexity level one had of the skill, the higher "power" the skill would have, compared to others with a lower complexity level. Reviewing a couple skills after your comment, I found this to be false on my part.

As for the Overpowered part, I see what you mean. At first, I thought that, since the power disbands on the first use of another element, or non element, that it would be ok. Despite that, I agree it has potential to be overpowered.
As for its piercing of Magical defenses, I didn't notice it mentioned (to the naked eye), however, I will remove it in the case it is also overpowered
Edited
I'll keep these notes for future Skill Making.
Thank you very much

Re: Shadowlight
Well, I'll be adding the skill. However, I will be deleting the Complexity Level usage, as well as the Learning Curve.
