Appearance
These are small, greenish-grey fish that sports vibrant reddish-orange fins. Females have black streaks across their eyes while males lack it.

Behavior
Ruby Fins are semi-aggressive and territorial fish, despite their size. They are quite omnivorous creatures, ranging from devouring smaller fish, aquatic worms and starfish to algae and seaweed. They can even eat land vegetation such as spinach and lettuce. Ruby Fins are popular as pets as well.
